             Cdr's Comments: The SEE +ram HHC which was air-dropped without parachute will be
             recovered Sunday morning. Damage and accident report to follow. Corps Engineers
             are asking for the 618 EN  Co to construct MSRs in lst CAV Div area from mid-Nov to
             Jan. I will speak to COL   Flowers shortly on this. Went on terrain walk today with
             2d Bde Engineers; their obstacle plan looks good.

             Cdr's Comments: We continued to be critically short of     Arabic linguists. This
             problem has been evident for several weeks but is more of a problem now owing to
             return of 311th and 519th MI Bn linguists. At this point in time, we have 21
             linguists on hand. We need over 30 to be able to accomplish our mission with high
             standards.
