             mines at the FA T.     Concurrently, our ability to inectiari-
             i.ca'Lly breach minefields increased immensely with the
             fielding of -the CEV riiirierake. Attachment of -this implement
             required reinforcing the blade and adaptation of some
             hydraulic connections, which were accomplished by the BMD
             section under directions of the fielding team. The BMO
             also applied a MWO to an q/8 IflICLIC to prevent the ctiarge
             from misfiring.

                    13Febgi To continue providing responsive engineer
                       to the division, an idditi.on.Al -three cont--ract
             civilian dozers were received. The major event of the day
             was C/8 Engr participation in Berm EALtstLr 1. with I.--7 Cav.
      Three breach lanes Were provided using entering charges
             on the berm and IC,5mrii IIEP ii-id cutting charges on the
             concrete driqon9s teeth which were empliced by the Irxqis
             to close lanes -in the berm. The (@l--V also fired its main
                    165mm HEP, on -three buildings north of -LtiF, berm,
             destroying each.
