     10 APR:
           Iraqi Government stated acceptance of UN ceasefire was "without
     qualifications.,,
           Kuwaiti Government formally requested US Government to keep troops in
     4kwait.
           22d SUPCOM strength totals 39,755.
           Intratheater airlift transported 58,831 pax and 21,088 short tons of
     equipment to date.

     11 APR:
           UN formal declaration of ceasefire, effective 1000 hrs., EST.
           18 flights scheduled today from APOES.
           72 pallets of MRES sent to Turkey for Operation Provide Comfort.
           Logistical support provided for UN peacekeeping task force.

     12 APR:
           Iraqi vehicles with ammunition, chemicals, and Silkworm missile in
     the Port of Dammam - 593rd ASG manafflpd
           VII Corps began movement to Al Jubayl.
           XVIII Airborne Corps had 4 units (3rd ACR, 12th Avn Bde, 197th SIB,
     82nd Abn Div) completely redeployed.

     13 APR:
           UN Security Council announced that a formal ceasefire was in effect.
           Further receipt of EPWs within CENTCOM's theater of operations
     terminated.
           Redeployment progressing well: 150,250 soldiers departed as of 0300

           24th ID completely redeployed.

     14 APR:
           Coordination with 2d COSCOM and ARCENT to provide repair parts co. to
     SUPCOM (Fwd).
           POMCUS IPR held.
           1,137 aircraft to date flew from APOEs in Saudi Arabia.
           Mail volume for this day totaled 77.5 tons (46.5 tons incoming; 31
     tons outgoing).

     15 APR:
           8,200 FORSCOM personnel in Turkey as part of Operation Provide
     Comfort.
           25 (out of 501) oil wells in Kuwait capped.
           Heat injury prevention and treatment training conducted.

     16 APR:
           24 flights today - largest number of flights scheduled to date on one
     day.
           Deployment of 431st and 432nd Civil Affairs Companies to Turkey
     planned.
