           2nd convoy (97 vehicles) departed to support UNIKOM in Kuwait-
           Vehicle painting operations going well: 50 vehicles painted on this
     day;  91 to date.

     20 APR:
           Vehicle painting operation increasing in efficiency: 89 vehicles
     painted today.
           517th Medical Clearing Co. given on order mission to support
     operation Provide    Comfort.
           360,000 MREs   and 300,000 B-ration meals requested for Kuwait/Iraq
     relief mission in    support of the Red Crescent.

     21 APR:
           Visit by LTG   Ross, DADCSLOG at KKKC.
           432nd CA Co.   and 145th Medical Clearing Co. alerted to deploy to
     lbpport operation    Provide Comfort.
           APOE airflow   to date totals 1,409 planes and 204,815 pax.

     22 APR:
           16,348,500 unitized B-ration meals, 2,325,000 T-ration meals, and
     332,192 MREs tendered to MTMC to date for operation Provide Comfort.
           SUPCOM strength totals 40,898 soldiers.
           Road construction in progress at Al Jubayl.
           All XVIII Airborne Corps units at 85% or better in equipment departed
     or at port.

     23 APR:
           Log Base Echo closed.
           vii corps beginning to move first equipment to final staging areas
     and POMCUS holding areas.
           SUPCOM General Officers'/Colonel Commanders' Conference held at KKMC.

     24 APR:
           APOE airflow to date: 220,446 pax.
           Painting operations progressing well: 147 vehicles painted on this
     day; 472 painted to date.
