              b. Friendly. Units will continue an intensive NBC training

NBC-1 reports and acclimation in MOPP. Decontamination, smoke,
and chemical reconnaissance support -For all phases TBD.

          2. Mission. See Basic Order

          7.. E;@eCL(t ion

              a. Commander's Intent. To minimize heat stress and to
maintain full combat effectiveness, we will fight in the lowest
prudent level of MOPP. Rapid warning, reporting, and active
key.

              b. Concept of the operation. Prior to the initiation of NBC
warfare, units will implement both active and passivl,
contamination avoidance measures. Once NBC warfare has begun,
Corps will request authority to retaliate, not necessarily in
kind. A minimum MOPP level guidance will be issued by Brigade.
Subordinate commanders can increase the MOPP level based on the
threat and mission. Units will be prepared to establish their
own hasty decon sites during all phases of the operation. Units
will request additional dl-con support IAW the FSOP. Units will
plan for the use of mechanized, indirect smoke as well as smoke
          pots in ill operations.
