          ANNEX G  (NBC) to OPLAN 5-90



               C.  176th Engineer Group.

                   (1) On order be prepared to assume responsibilities as
          the  NBC sub collection center for HHC, 7th Engr Bdo.

                   (2) On order provide? (1) Z@000 gallon water tanker to
          HHC, 7th Engr Bde to support hasty decontamination operations.

               e.  Coordiniting instructions

                   (1) OEG - 50 CGY. Do not exceed negligible risk.

                   (2) MOPP Level -0- through phase II

                   (3) Location of area/Corps decontamination sites - TBP.

                   (4) Units will initiate the NBC SITREP IAW the Brigade
          FSOP upon closure in the TAA.

                   (5) The Brigade will initiate the NBC Warning and
          Reporting System once VII Corps establishes its NBC Center - TBD.

          4. Service Support


               -1.
               I   Units will requisition one additional set (14 days) of PB
          Nerve Agent Pre-Treatment tablets prior to departure from port
          -Ficility. Units will Rlso requisition enough NAAKS to ensure
          each individual has three extended kits prior to departure from
          part facility.   Units will issue PB tablets prior to moving from
          the port area.   The date the tablets were removed +ram cold
          storage will be  mar@-ed on the package. Units will order a
          replacement set  of PB tablets NLT 5 months after they were
          removed from cold storage.

               b. Units will check the number two packet of the M25SAI kit
          monthly -For swelling. Excessive heat will cause the capsule in
          the #2 packet to burst.

               C. Units will maintain 50 gallons of bleach per company.
          The bleach will be used for chemical casualty decon when
          conventional wounds are present or the individual does not have
 bleach can also be used
          to decon areas on equipment. Bleach is more effective than DS2
          on mustard agents.

               d. Units will replace kll chemica filters after E3 separate
          chemical attacks, unless the agent is identified as i blood
          -tgent. Units will change filters after each blood agent attack.
