         ANNEX G (NBC) to OPLAN 5-90


             0. ChL-mictl Casualty Decon. It is the responsibility of the
         unit to ensure casualties are deconned, if possible, before
         arrival at the aid station. If the tactical situation and the
         casualty's condition allows, units should perform skin decon and
         MOPP gear exchange on the casualty. Effective medical care
         cannot be administered until decon is completed. Units should be
         prepared to support aid stations with additional personnel to
         assist in casualty decon. Battalion aid stations will establish
         procedures to treat chemical casualties.

             -F. Chemical Equipment Calibration. Calibrttion will be
         through normal support channels. Currently facilities are
         established at King Fahd Military City to handle immediate
         calibration requirements (phone/MSE CW2 Links/SSG Diaz 5C-
         82OZSB40-3476).

             g.  Hazardous Waste.  Hazardous waste will be handled on @i
         contract basis by Corps. Pickup will be bimonthly with a start
         date to be determined. Units will request pickup through normal
         command channels. Units will pack CDE hazardous waste in double
         plastic bags until it is picked up.

         5. Command and Signal

             a. The Brigade Chemical Officc?r is located in the vicinity
         of the Brigade TOC.

             b. Linkup procedures and frequencies for decontamination,
         smoke and recon assets TBP.
