(d Developed a cohesive unit by integrating soldiers
new to 9@h Chemic4l Company with the soldiers Previously
assigned. These teams were able to merge and work as
independent cells in the execution of their miision.
                (e) Deployed two teams into Kuwait. Their main mission
was to conduct samples on order. in addition the detachment
sent seven drivers-with vehicles into Kuwait to assist FMIB
in the collection of captured materiels. This secondary
mission was critical to the FMIB operation allowing them the?
needed hauling capacity to accomplish their mission.
                     (f) The evacuation of suspected biological/chemical
samples to- the Theater laboratories progressed smooth
                                           u ifi a viable al@
throughout the. operation, c lminating n
working evacuation process. Several hundred sampliit; were
processed through -the laboratories with onl minimal false
ositives. This is in direct reflection Of tKe efforts of
the operators and the CRDEC liaison officers refining the
sam@ling process in order to combat the former high degree
            of alse positives.
(-g) Implemented a intelligence chain of reaction
between the operators and the intelligence sections of
supported units. The information Provid&d by the operators
could then be further e@pedited- through-. intelligence
channels to further assist in operational missions.
                     (h) Due to our late arrival during operation Desert
@torm, the'detachment was required to be employed almost
instantaneously. Within three days of artival; the first
five teams wer@ deployed throughout-the AOR.
(i) Communication networks were refined in order to
decrease the amount of logistical resupply.efforts and to
aid the teams in the dissemination of CM/BIO information to
            all levels.
