         these items, but may be forced to curtail MSR maintenance in the
         near future because of a lack of cutting edges.

                 2. Aviation Support. Many of my recent requests for
         aviation support to conduct rer-ons -for TF DEMO and of VISRs in
         XVIII ABC sector have been cancelled. Request priority of
         aviation support +or TF DEMO and MSR recons. lack of aviation
         support iepordizes my ability to meet the Corps Commander's
         intent.


                 3. Cross Country Travel. I have received several recent
         reports of wheeled vehicles being damaged by running over UXO
         while travelling cross country. I suggest that a Corps-wide
         message be published which advises of the dangers of travelling
         cross country in wheeled vehicles- These vehicles should travel
         on cleared MSRs and routes to the maximum extent possible.

                 4. We need guidance on redeployment of
         +iller/augmentees. Understand initial guidance published on 10
         March 1991 is an hold.

                 5. Please provide information as to how "C" bags are to
         be handled +or personnel returning to USAREUR/CONUS units and
         then immediately travelling on to TDY or PCS assignments.
