they said that they had enough supplies at their DSU and within
their units to support combat for 30 days.

Re: Dust pallative. The ARCENT Eng office, Cpts Cahill and
Reichert, reported that ARAMCO would not allow ARCENT to tap its
pipelines. They did say that they were willing to haul crude to
bladder sites. They offered 5 trucks and 5 drivers. This isn't
enough. ARCENT plans to elevate the priority of the action by
including it in its daily top five issues for the Saudi goverment.
Earlier ARCENT had a lead on some 1,000,000 + gallons of oil that
could be moved to the work site. This is still working but is in
contracting. Does not look like this will be a very quick action.
Meanwhile ARCENT is trying to help the situation by contracting
for trucks to haul the crude oil if it is ever made available.
They are working on 50 trucks that could be outfitted with
military drivers. They are doing this since they do not expect
the civilian drivers to be very reliable during combat.

Re: PWs. ARCENT still hasn't picked up the PWs from yesterday.
COL(P) Mather has said that XVIXI may not and will not transport
these PWs to EAC without his express permission. He is trying to
force the issue.

Notes from the 1630 CG update and the 1900 shift change: - CORPS
nominated 33 targets and 3 made it on the ATO. - CORPS will
probably go to a T-MRE-T cycle until they cross the LD. Two
reasons; morale and trying to build up the MRE stock for future
ay for 5 days will start bringing CL IX into
KKMC. - 6th Fr will conduct a ground recon of OBJ Nachez (an LD
area) tonight.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Notes from the SITREP exchange with VII Corps tonight: - lst Cav
will conduct a day light recon to the FSCL in their AO and will
conduct berm cutting operations. They will move artillery S. of
the berm to engage targets of opportunity as they are id'd. They
are planning an additional night mounted ground recon to the FSCL
in their AO. Finally ist Cav will conduct a Bn TF faint tomorrow
AM. - lst ID will conduct an arty raid tonight. They will do
cross FLOT operations with AH-64s between 2230 and 2345 tomorrow.
This action requires the VII CORPS commanders approval and he
hasn't given it yet. - 2nd ACR, 3AD and 1AD UK are minimizing
their electronic signature and attempting to avoid enemy recon
efforts.
