         APPENDRX 2 (CLASS III) TO ANNEX D (SUPPLY) TO IST COSCOM OPORDER
         DESERT STORM
         1.   UK PURPOSE: To outline Bulk Class iri POL support for
         Operation Desert Storm.

         2.   A    GENERAL: Unit distribution to divisions will be
         through preplanned push  packages to DSA by forecast in the LOOSTAT
         and REPOL. Nondivigional units will-uge supply point and limited
         unit distribution by preplanned push *Packages. Support during each
         Phase will be provided as listed below.

         3. (U) Concept of Support/Operations:
              a. je PHASE II: CSOs provide retail fuel support on Tapline
         Rd.  in their respective Logbasea/AOs. CSCis will operate tanker to
         tanker trans-load points to provide bulk fuel to their aligned
         custo-mers in the AA. All CSGs will assist in the filling and
         sustainment of all bulk POL supply points in the AA.

              b. @ PHASE III: CSGG provide fuel support (unit
         distribution) to their aligned divisions and accompanying
         nondivigional units. CSOs establish forward bulk fuel supply
         points. EAC pushes bulk fuel into LOOBASE OSCAR and ROMEO. 507th
         CSO pushes into CSG/Bs and accessible DSAS.

         4.        CONCEPT OF 6PERATIONS:

              a. (U) All CSGS:

                   (1)  (U) Unless MOGAS fails visual tests do not filter
         MOGAS.

                   (2)  (U) Disperse fuel storage bags to provide maximum
         protection from aerial attack.

                   (3)  (U) Train soldiers to perform tanker to tanker
         transfers.

                   (4)  (U) Develop and have ready fire fighting plans.

                   (5)  (U) To provide fire protection to POL vehicle
         operators, ensure all cab tops to POL vehicles remain on the
         vehicles.
                   (6)  (j6 Report POL equipment battle loss to CCMC/
         MMT in POL CAP format.
