              b.  WO CONCEPT OF OPERATION: Communications will be
        established to support let COSCOM during the three (3) phases
        of this operation. In order to support the Combat Service
        Support (CSS) mission. the following communications means
        will be employed by let COSCOM: Corps Tactical Voice
        Network. Radio Teletype (RATT), and Single Channel Radio (FM.
        AM and TACSAT). These communications means will provide
        tactical telephone. telecommunications message center.
        facsimile service and data file transmission capabilities for
        HQs let COSCOM with its major aubord@ate headquarters and
        other units within the XVIII ABN Corps.

              C. (U) RESPONSIBILITIES:

                  (1)(P)Sas

                       (a)(u)Be prepared to pick-up copies of daily
        messages from the COSCOM Main Comcenter for.the Command Group
        Reading File.
                       (bX,A)Ingtall and operate a STU-III on the
        commercial (COSCOM Rear) Saudi PTT telephone line in the
        Command Group Building as indicated in Appendix 12.
                       (c)(u)Install and operate a data-file transfer
        computer terminal as indicated in Appendix 11.

                       (aY-@nsure that adequate copier support is
        available for use by the COSCOM Main Message Center.

                       (btuverform message distribution functions in
        support of.lst COSCOM Rear and Main.

                       (c)Lu)lnstall and operate a data-file transfer
        computer'terminal as indicated in Appendix 11.

                       (dXV)Ingtall and operate a tactical facsimile at
        the COSCOM Rear as indicated in Appendix S.

                       (e)(P)Ensure that distribution personnel pick-up
        all message traffic from the COSCOM Comcenter in a timely
        manner. Quick response is needed for Flash and Immediate
        messages.
