         paya@fe--@o soldiers--w-h-o-s-e-@-uty requires separation from their
         family members for more than 30 continuous days. The soldiers
         should complete a DD Form 1561 and submit the document through
         the Personnel Administration Center (PAC) to the servicing
         Finance Unit. FSA Type II is payable to soldiers with family
         members at a rate of $2 per day not to exceed $60 per month.

         7. Parachute_Pay, Parachute pay will continue while the soldier
         is deployed in support of Operation Desert Shield. The commander
         can invoke the 12-month rule due to military operations or non-
         availability of aircra+t/equipment. Under these conditions, four
         jumps must be completed within a 12-month period once
         aircra+t/eqLtipment becomes available in order to retain the jump
         pay +or the entire period.
