2306 Went to MOPP 4. Heard a loud bang and Olson
one or two muffled ones. Contacted 74th
to get a MOPP level and then contacted
the billets. Have not resolved our phone
problem as yet.
24 Jan 91 Received call from 542d. They have Olson
0050 problems contacting 74th EOD. Relayed
info on truck accident. Latest status is
that QASAS is supposed to provide 2
cases of C4 to the unit at the accident
site at 0900 hrs. The 74th will meet him
there.
0051 Our new number is 498-0593. Passed Olson
number change to 542d and 74th.
0835 Received msg from the 542d that the 14th
was moving the next day or so. Neither
were able to notify the 543rd. We are
unable to do so at this time.
0900 Shift change. Atkinson
1103 543rd called in PERSTAT. Atkinson
1200 CPT WILSON talked with MAJ Germano, G4 Wilson
Ammo about simple method of EOD resupply
of HE. He is currently working the
issue.
1735 Received call from CPT Wilson. Gave me ATKINSON
some "SECRET" information regarding scud
warhead. Relayed info to 74th. Actual
msg will be brought over by CPT Wilson.
PAKSI
1925 Cpt Wilson relayed message about WILSON
chemical alarm systems promised to the
74th by LTC Silvernail to ARCENT NBC
section, they want this in writing from
CENTCOM. Had 74th EOD send runner over
for message about SCUDS.
