                      to be sent here. No idea how soon. Also

                      reporting he was scarfed up by another
                      unit. FORSCOM wanted us to check on it
                      for them.

         0745         Received a call from Bill Elkins. He          Olson
                      said that they were expecting to get the
                      purchase order on the cooling suits on
                      monday. He said the suits would be on
                      their way here is 60 to 90 days and
                      would include some modifications that
                      they discussed with the 542d.

         1255         14AJ Wilson, ARCENT G-3 PLANS, TACS           Wilson
                      number 9-7806-335/336/380, requested
                      information on EOD structure and
                      capabilities, CPT Wilson furnished unit
                      listing and phone numbers for the
                      EODCC'S. His office will be making
                      detailed plans for required EOD support
                      when Kuwait is liberated, MAJ Wilson was
                      instructed to contact LTC Pierson/MAJ

         1625         LT Butkus, G4, 9-7804-433 inquired about      Atkinson
                      an EOD need for a Ctg Cal .50 DODIC
                      A606. XVIII Abn Corps is saying that
                      their EOD assets need it. It is not in
                      the Army inventory. G4 wants to know if
                      there really is a need for it. Attempted
                      to contact 543rd EODCT. Negative
                      contact.
