                                  Lieutenant Colonel David A. Fagan






                  Lieutenant Colonel David A. Fagan came to the 92nd Engineer

             Combat Battalion (Heavy) on 9 July 1990, from the 18th Engineer

             Brigade in Karlsruhle, Federal Republic of Germany. Commissioned

             in the Regular Army, Corps of Engineers in 1972, LTC Fagan had a

             variety of assignments, to include: Commander, Echo Company, 17th

             Engineer Battalion, 2nd Armored Division, Fort Hood, Texas;

             Engineer Project Officer, Far East District, U.S. Army Corps of

             Engineers, Seoul, Republic of Korea; Senior Operations, Plans, and

             Training Inspector, Office of the Inspector General, Headquarters,

             U.S. Army Europe; Battalion Executive Officer, 249th Engineer

             Combat Battalion (Heavy), and S-4 Officer, 18th Engineer Brigade.

             His Joint assignments included a year with the Defense Attache

             Office, U.S. Embassy, Rabat, Morocco, and 3 years with the Defense

             Intelligence Agency, Middle East Research Directorate, Washington

             D.C. LTC Fagan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial

             Engineering from Clarkson University, and a Maeter of Arts degree

             in Foreign Affairs, Ohio University, with an area concentration in

             Africa and the Middle East. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army

             Engineer Officer Basic and Advanced courses, the Defense Language

             Institute (French), Department of Army Inspectors' General School,

             and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
