     "I@ mruwaga called, saying Group was unable to get us any vehicles
     (CUCV, HUMV, or pickup) right now and that Group S-4 would continue
     to search. Told him we had not yet missed any missions, but would be
     likely, if any more of our vehicles went down (CUCV and pickup in 3d
     shop for at least a month; missions being completed with civilian
     pickup, CUCV and a Deuce).

     16 FEB
     FixL-d-site pay missions completed with no problems.
     MFST mission to 826th ORD completed with no problems.
     0200--Scud alert siren. Scud targeted toward Jubail; Patriot not
     activated, but Scud exploded just short of the port pier.
     0225--"All clear" given.
     0700--SFC Hewett, SSG Smith and SPC Harris went to compound to drop
     off SFC Hewett who would be going with SGM Massey, 230th FSU, to
     Riyadh to an LES conference on Sunday at 215th FSU.

     17 FEB
     Fiyed-site pay mission completed with no problems.
     Continued to receive several inquiries from newly arrived Civil
     Affairs (RC) soldiers
     1530--SGT Moore and S@C Hite departed to compound to pickup SFC
     Hewett and SPC Covington  (returning from 2-day R&R trip).
     1600--Cdr talked with 61  and G3, 352d CA Cmd, which had just arrived
     in Camp 1, about finance  service support available.
     1630--LTC Arteaga called  saying they had obtained a M1009 for us to
     use on a temporary basis. Told him we had someone on the way there
     who would pick it up.
     2200--Received call +ram  LTC Arteaga saying we would not be able to
     take the M1009 now since  the unit it belonged to had just showed up
     to claim it. He discussed some other options with Dep Cdr.

     18 FEB
     Fixed-site pay missions completed with no problems.
     MFST mission to LOOBASE Bastogne (Tm 5) departed at 0930.
     1130--Cdr, SSG Smith and SGT Davis departed for ARCENT FAO and 18th
     CFG compound to conduct business and attend a Command Call. Also,
     dropped SBT Davis off at ARCENT IS.
     1700--Cdr attended Command Call. COL Baer provided update on OPLAN
     and finance services support issues. Cdr informed him that the only
     issue at this time is problems/shortage of vehicles.

     19 FEB
     Fixed-site pay missions completed with no problems.
     MFST mission to LOBBASE Bastogne (Tm 5) still in progress.
     1130--2LT Demay, SSG Adames and SST Davis departed for ARCENT FAO,
     Dragon City, and 18th CFG compound to drop off business at ARCENT DO,
     take SST Davis to the IG, and drop of+ 2LT Demay at the compound.
     2LT De(nay departed the 502d FSC to return to his old job in
     contracting.
     1400--COL Baer visited the 502d FSC on his return to KKMC to meet the
     new D.O., lLT Denham. Cdr and COL Baer met with Chief of Staff of
     357th CA Cmd to discuss KTF (Kuwait Task Force) upcoming operations.
     Brie-Fly discussed possibility of funding of-Ficer/team going into
     Kuwait City to support civil affairs procurement a+ goods or
     services.   COL Baer departed the area at 1500 hours.
     1930--Cdr and CPT Troller talked with MAJ Kelly and COL Bischoff,
     Fort Hood (Rear), concerning cut-off input and inprocessing of
     replacements arriving in theater.
