    19 MAR
    0700-IBOO--MFST mission (Tm #1) to ISA completed with no problems.
    1500-2030--Cdr and lLT Denham departed for ARCENT FAO and lath CFG
    compound. LT Denham returning to live there and assume duties as
    Cash Control Officer for the FAO there; we would pickup 2LT Demay to
    replace lLT Denham. After clearing business at ARCENT HQS, went to
    lath CFG compound. Cdi- met with COL Baer and S-3 who informed that
    they would be departing theater on or about 26 Mar and from that date
    until 502d's departure, MAJ Mattingly would also serve as Group Cdr
    for 18th--remaining 18th FSU's would be 502d, 15th and 101st. All
    would be redeployed EOM April along with 18th Corps elements.
    2035--2LT Demay arrived at Camp 1.

    20 MAR
    0830-1930--MFST mission (TM #1) to 401st EPW Camp, 193rd MP CO, and
    300th FLD Hosp completed.
    1000-1700--MFST mission (Tm #2) to 68th Trans Bn completed.

    21 MAR
    0700-1700--MFST mission (Tm #2) to 68th Trans completed.
    0800-1630--MFST mission (Tm #5) to 553rd CSB completed.
    1500--Cdr and SSG Adames drove to King Fahd Airport to coordinate
    with 101st FSU on equipment staging/redeployment and then to 18th CFG
    compound to drop off SPC Gagnon and SPC Ewell for R&R time. Returned
    to Camp 1 at 2130.

    22 MAR
    1400-2130--Cdr and ISG departed for 18th CFG compound for last
    Command Call prior to COL Baer's departure. 1SG drove to 85th      EVAC
    Hosp to coordinate Physical appointment for SPC Toungate's
    reenlistment. After conclusion of Command Call, Cdr went with      COL
    Baer and S-3, MAJ Speer, to Dragon Main where he was introduced to BB
    Scholes, Dep Cdr, 18th ABN Corps. BS Scholes was briefed that MAJ
    Mattingly will assume a dual-hatted role: Cdr of 502d FSC (FWD) and
    Acting Group Cdr -For la CFG units remaining after COL Baer's
    departure. Latest LES Listing is to be provided to S-3 NLT 24 Mar.
    FSU's will have to provide a 2-man team to Riyadh to assist in
    breakdown of LESs there when they arrive.

    25 MAR
    0630-1645--MFST mission (Tm #2) to 68th Trans completed.
    1430-2230--Cdr and SOT Wolf departed to 18th CFG compound to meet
    with COL Baer and S-3 before departure from theater and to pickup two
    unit soldiers from R&R there. Cdr also went to Dragon Main to check
    on status of air redeployment of unit. Learned from S-3 that support
    mission for EAC and SUPCOM units on western boundary would cease on I
    April. From that point, we would only support 3d ACR and Tiger Bde
    units plus other 18th Corps units in Jubail transitioning out of
    theater.


    26 MAR
    0830-1630--MFST mission (Tm #1,5) to 542d Maint Bn completed.
