    27 MAR
    No MFST missions.
    1000--CPT Troller and PVT Utterback went to Dragon Main to pickup
    Article 15 paperwork, filled out at Corps Legal Assistance section.
    Drove to Khobar Towers to try and locate lst Cav 6-4 to pickup LOSMAR
    labels needed for redeployment of our vehicles. Ist Cav was in
    process of setting up building 107, but 9-4 had not yet arrived from
    Hafra Al-Batin. Finally, went to compound to pick up OER's completed
    by COL Baer and to bid our final farewells as he and his staff were
    leaving at 0730 next morning. Returned to Camp I at 2100.

    28 MAR
    0630--MFBT (Tm #2) departed on a 3-day mission to 401st MP (EPW)
    Camp, 403d MP (EPW) Camp, and 193d MP Co.
    0730--MFST (Tm #1) departed on a 3-day mission to 300th FLD Hosp,
    724th Maint, 748th Maint, and 608th Ord Bns.
    0800--MFST (Tm #5) departed on a 3-day mission to Camp Zebra and
    LOBBASE Bastogne.
    0900--ISG, SPC Alvarez, and SPC White departed for Dragon Main and
    18th Abn Corps SJA. Later, proceeded to ARCENT to input promotions
    at 546th PSC, on two III Corps FSU soldiers assigned to us. Arrived
    at Camp 1 at 1645.
    1000-1700--MFST (Tm #3) mission to 826th Ord completed.

    29 MAR
    0800-1320--MFST (Tm #3) mission to 2-43d ADA and 10th Trans
    completed.
    1030--SBT Wolf and SPC Alvarez went to turn in ammo at the ammunition
    point. Later, went to 18th CFG compound to pick up vehicle parts
    from SSG Bowling. Returned to Camp I at 1710 hours.
    1330--CPT Troller and SSG Wright departed for Dragon Main and 18th
    CFG compound. At Dragon Main, talked with SFC Juarez, RAOC,
    concerning the location of the LESS. Said they came in but the
    pallet could not be found as of yet. Later, they went to ARCENT FAO
    to see ILT Newsome. Gave him DA 4187's on two III Corps FSU soldier
    promotions. CPT Troller told him that SGT Laureano and SPC Vyner
    would be returning with the advance party on 6 April. LT Newsome
    indicated that he will be required to stay in theater after all III
    Corps FSU soldiers redeploy to Ft Hood. CPT Troller said
    "Balderdash!" and said he would talk to LTC Arteaga about it. Later,
    they drove to Khobar Towers to visit the Ist (Air) Cav Div 6-3. SSG
    Kelly gave us Logmars labels and sent us to the vehicle wash rack to
    talk to CPT Gifford about getting our vehicles cleaned, inspected and
    turned in for redeployment. When they found out that LTC Bunslick
    had put us into the priority B-3 Air shop, they drove back to the
    compound to talk with LTC Arteaga and CPT Kovac about LESS. Neither
    one new where they were. CPT Troller told LTC Arteaga that LT
    Newsome should redeploy with us. LTC Arteaga said LT Newsome
    volunteered to stay and had reached an agreement with COL Baer prior
    to COL Baer's departure. CPT Troller stated he would continue to try
    to redeploy LT Newsome with the 502d. Arrived at Camp 1 at 2110.

    30 MAR
    0800-1700--MFST mission (Tm #3) to 1015th Maint completed.
    1230--Cdr, SSG Adames and SFC Nixon departed for Dragon Main, Khobar
    Towers and 18th CFG compound. At Dragon Main, Cdr talked with CPT
    Venardi on redeployment, clean up, inspection, and turn-in of
    vehicles, movement of 502d to Khobar Towers, pay support for units at
    Khobar Towers, and LES pick up. CPT Venardi accompanied the Cdr to
    Khobar Towers, at which time they scouted temporary living quarters
