           Instructions for Aviation Status Report are as follows (due to
           corps Aviation 1500 and 0300 hours daily as of 3 hours earlier):

                              SECTION I

               a. Item 1:     Nomenclature of reporting unit.

               b. Item 2:     "as of" date-time group of the report.

               C. Item 3:     Serial number of the report to be assigned by
           reporting unit.

               d. Item 4:     Grid location of aviation bn and bde HQs.


                              SECTION II

               e.   Item 1:   Number of aircraft by type on hand.

               f.   Item 2:   Number of aircraft by type that are mission
           capable.

               g.   Item 3:   Number of pilots on hand.

               h.   Item 4:   Number of pilots who can perform flight duties.

               i.   Item 5:   Aircraft hours flown in daylight during last 12
          --hours.

               j.   Item 6:   Aircraft hours flown at night (aided or unaided)
           during   last 12 hours.

               k. Item 7: Cumulative daylight aircraft hours flown to date
           since start of monthly flying hour reporting period (0001 hours
           local on the 16th day of the month).

               1. Item 8: Same as Item 7, except hours flown at night.

               M. Item 9: Aircraft NMC but repairable due to accident or
           combat damage in the past 12 hours.

               n. Item 10: Aircraft missing or destroyed and not
           repairable due to accident or enemy action in the past 12 hours.

               0. Item 11: Pilots not mission capable due to being wounded
           in action during the past 12 hours.

               p. Item 12: Pilots killed in action / Pilots missing in
           action during the past 12 hours.

               q. Item 13 - 16. Same as items 9 - 12, except quantities
           are cumulative since start of the operation.
