assist DSC in the application and modification of (7) mine rollers, (5)
Maintenance platoon temp loaned an M-BB/VTR to B Co, 4th Tank Battalion

not
find it necessary to separate CBS into field and combat trains. Rather,
we used a single unit location log train approach. This was due in part
to the fact that the CBS trains were never in excess of ten - fifteen
Kmls behind the line companies. Also, instead of one tank maintenance
contact team collected with the UMCP, the battalion formed two additional
tank maintenance contact teams. The tank maintenance section was
provided a MRC 110 and additional HMMWV's vehicles so that they could
monitor regimental ad log net and respond to calls for maintenance
support from the separate breach teams.

               5. Period I March - 31 March 1991:
                    a. Review: After the cease fire and end of hostilities the
8-4/Logisties section continued to provide CBS to all companies. CSSD-26
moved south, and support from higher headquarters is now provided by
                    combat service support area-3 (CSSA-3).
                    b. Mission/Tasks: Key missions for S-4/Logisiics is to (1) prepare for
retrograde operations to Camp 15, (2) backload of MPS/Organic equipment
and (3) to complete LTI of all equipment along with SL-3 inventories and
                    conduct maintenance repairs as required.
                    c. Goals/Accomplishments:, Since February 28th, the 9-4/Logistics
section has established maintenance areas both in the assembly area and
