        -1351, TF Ripper request 1/25 establish EPW sight at grid OS 795965.
        -1410, 1/5 Reports destroying two T-55's at grid OS 758985.
        -1416, 1/5 reports 500 EPW's/one colonel.
        -1422, 1/7 Destroys -four T-62's with TOW's. Hundreds of EPW's.
         Attacked Emir's farm, no substantial resistance.
        -1623, TF Ripper time of continued attack on Al Jaber is 1630.
         Cobras conducted recon of Al Jaber airfield/no visible armor or
         artillery.
        -1628, 1/25 relieving 1/5's EPW company.
        -1630, TF commences attack of Al Jaber, I MEF obj A.
        -1643 ' EPW reports to 1/25 no tanks or chemicals at Al Jaber, also said
         he knew of attack from NBC.
        -1645   1/5 reports 2230 EPW's.
        -1654,  Tank company has 20 EPW's coming form Al Jaber.
        -1718 , 1/5  bypassing larger number of EPW's.
        -2733,  LAI  reports visibility down to 300 meters.
        -1734,  1/7  engaging two T-62's/one destroyed.
        -1738,  1/7  reports three T-62's destroyed on west flank.
        -1744,  1/7  destroys three T-62's and three T-55's.
        -1805,  1/7  directed to orient defense to northeast.
        -1807,  TFR  directs 1/5 to orient northeast and be prepared to move to
         address threat to north.
        -1816, TF Shepherd established screen to TF Ripper north.
        -2120, EPW's from 14th Infantry Regiment, 56th mechanized infantry
         Division CP 500 meters north of Al Jaber main gate/remainder of 56th
         went north.
         2130, EPW report of two BDE plus artillery battalion northwest of our
         position at grid OS 797950. Discovered platoon of reveted T-62's
         unoccupied just south of Al Jaber.
         2335, TF reports from 1/5 900 enemy left in the area out of 2000
         troops. 14th Inf Reg, 56th Mech Inf Brigade located vic Al Jabar.
         Numerous EPW's slowed operations somewhat. Est forward EPW compound
         due to volume of EPW's. 1/7 engages enemy tanks, visibility down to 20
         feet due to oil fires. Al Jabar isolated position east and north of
         airfield.


        TASK FORCE SHEPHERD
        -0001, TF crosses border to A/A, to SW side of Ist obstacle belt.
        -0515, D Co w/TF Ripper right flank, screen thru 2nd obstacle, received
         enemy arty incoming between belts, no casualties.
        -1130, C Co crosses Ist belt to clear Korean workers camp vic OS 8679,
         receives arty fire.
        -1030, D Co follows through 2nd breech-screens NE toward Burqan for TF
         Ripper. Engaged enemy arty near Emir's ranch, 8 arty pieces vic OS
         8498.
        -1330, Shepherd moves fwd ("Cn Co, "A' Co, `R' Co, Cbt Trn) through Ist
         breech and 2nd breech, est a screenline along 15 E-W grid line.
        -2657, 'C" Co in lead - engaged/destroyed 4 T-62's captured truck
         w/officers - 818079. "A' Co/'D' Co abreast at 10 horz. grid. "B" Co
         screens east to Burqan. "D" Co kills 2 T-62's at power line.
        -1910, 'D` Co with Shepherd - engaged/destroyed 5 T-62's at OT 2115.
        -2130, 'A' Co reports 40 dismounts in bunkers vic OS 8115. IC, Co
