- The FCF on 1165 released Code one.

- CENTAF is supporting this initial swap out but will not place
this idea high on their list of priorities. That's fine because
we only need this airlift guaranteed so we can swap he folks so
they are evenly distributed. Then we can schedule eight ships
across the AMU's.

- They found the ventral panel!!!!

- a/c 1148 diverted to Jubail for engine problems. His wingman
reported a puff of smoke out the back end. We got a team going
up tonite.

- There are problems getting both our location and the FOL to
sing from the same sheet of music. When you lay out a plan,
everyone must be informed of it and work their hardest to make it
happen. No thumbsuckers or negative thinkers allowed!!!!!!

- We flew 126 out of 129 sorties.

- The FOL's steak dinner was a big success. We will try and do
this once a week.


FEB 13: DAY 28

- a/c 1148 and 1416 RTB'ed. a/c 1416 landed code three with
multiple write ups but made it back. a/c 1148 was FMC at 0400
even though the team departed here at 2200 the previous night.

- We had a total of 7 ground aborts and two air aborts today.

- We got the C-130 airlift and deployed 65 folks North for a swap
out at the FOL. The crew dogs from the 33 and 10 AMU went up to
relieve the 17th. Also swapped were 10 Ammo and 5 CLSS, a MOC
person and an OIC. Tomorrow we will send an eight ship from each
AMU.

- Due to the new spread across the board, every squadron will now
configure for 10 Ables and the rest Bakers.

- I am having QA generate a local MOI directing the fuel master
switch to be safety wired to the "on" position.

- We spoke with the 388th today and found out that they had
received 24 of our ECA mod kits and had kept them even though
they were marked for us. Still no word on the other 16 which
were delivered to base on the 27th of January.

- Overall a quiet day.  All our birds spent the night here and
the swap out went smoothly.
