(3) REQUIRED SUPPORT: Request CENTAF/DOSE source and ship
required items.
G. PROBLEM: Lack of reliable communications.
(l) DISCUSSION: Following an airfield attack [(b)(1)sec 3.4 (b)(5)]
will assist in recovering the airbase. Each will be directed by the
SRC on the same frequency. We are short three radios, a base station
for the SRC, and a repeater to ensure widest coverage.
(2) PROPOSED SOLUTION: Requisition shortages.
(3) REQUIRED SUPPORT: The 32d Combat Communications Squadron
has included our needs in the base list of requirements. Push from
CENTAF level requested.
H. PROBLEM: We are currently setting up mortuary facilities.
Equipment on station will not meet electrical requirements of these
facilities.
(1) DISCUSSION: Electrical power is imperative to operate
refrigerators to prevent creation of a disease infested area and
significant health problems.
(2j PROPOSED SOLUTION: The following equipment is required for
electrical power: three 6 plug PDUs, three 8 plug PDUs, three SDCs,
three small tan PDUs, 35 100 foot cables, 25 50 foot cables, 18 tent
light strings, three 100KW generators, and two remote area lighting
kits.
(3) REQUESTED SUPPORT: Request CENTAF source and provide the
resources in H (2) above.
I. PROBLEM: we have not received our needed plastic tarps that
are chemical resistant.
(1) DISCUSSION: With not having any major warehouses to store
equipment we are in critical need of chemical resistant plastic
sheets/rolls for contamination avoidance.
(2) PROPOSED SOLUTION: CENTAF ABO place a higher priority on
our location receiving the needed material. We are briefing
organizations on using any type of covering they have available, but
the reliability of these materials is questionable.
(3) REQUESTED SUPPORT: The necessary assets be obtained,
allocated or reallocated to us by CENTAF ABO.
J. (U) PROBLEM: We are short approximately 54 Revetment Kits.
(1) (U) DISCUSSION: We have inventoried kits on hand and do not
have the amount on hand that the staff thinks are on hand.
(2) (U) PROPOSED SOLUTION: Locate additional kits to permit
revesting the majority of aircraft.
