           Cdr's Comments: The focus of the Brigade for the next two weeks will be the
           TF 3-504 EXEVAL. 3-504 received their warning order for the operation and all
           players on the EXEVAL drew their MILES equipment. The only significant training aid
           shortages at this time include the absence of pyrotechnics, such as artillery
           simulators and trip flares, and the delayed arrival of M60 machinegun blank adaptors
           expected to arrive sometime next week. Concertina wire and sandbags also remain
           unavailable.

           Cdr's Comments: The Brigade will continue to work plans for the 3-505 EXEVAL. The
           Bde CPX of OPLAN 18-90 conducted last night was successful. Lessons learned were
           discussed at the AAR and included the coordination necessary to conduct Army
           Aviation/Air Force employment and the execution of the engineer obstacle plan.

           DISCOM:                                                         Submitted: 03 Oct 90

xperience some
           problems getting into the wholesale system. The program is being worked with COSCOM
           and LOG Center BARSS technicians. Evidence of this problem can be seen in the
           nonreceipt of any XVIII Airborne Corps Terrain Management concerning DISCOM LSA
           request. The request has been forwarded to Host Nation channels and is still
           working.

           ZS-73 ARMOR:                                                    Submitted: OS Oct 90

           Cdr's Comments: Require additional smoke grenade stocks to mark positions +or CAB
           missions. All 19D's (non deployables excluded) at Fort Bragg need to be shipped to
           Saudi Arabia ASAP. All new 19D's must go through the school of the Sheridan and TTS
           transition prior to being fully integrated Tank Crew. 15 Nov 90 is a good target
           date for receiving all 17D's left at Fort Bragg.
