          Cdr's Comments: Based on CO's comments at AVN BDE's briefing on rear area
          operations, I am preparing a briefing an the communications requirements to operate
          a DIV REAR CP independently of DISCOM/AVN BDE. SS electronic maintenance repair
          facilities are still not operational.

          Cdr's Comments: We should finish PE13ASUS BASE initial project package by 6 Nov.
          Coordinating with 3d Bde and DISCOM to determine their potential LSAS. Will send an
          engineer recon to new PROVIDER BASE tomorrow. Transport of equipment continues to
          be a problem as we now have only two sick commercial lowboys to haul around our
          heavy equipment. Celebrated Essayons Day today at the stadium; a great morale
          booster for all.

          Cdr's Comments: We continued to be critically short of Arabic linguists. This
          problem has been evident for several weeks but is more of a problem now owing to
          return of 311th and 519th MI Bn linguists. At this point in time, we have 21
          linguists on hand. We need over 50 to be able to accomplish our mission with high
          standards.

          3-4 ADA:                                                    Submitted: 02 Oct 90

          Cdr's Comments: Team Delta (-) continues to provide air defense and, if required,
          ground fires in support of the 82d Aviation Brigade at AA PEGASUS. Deployment of
 twenty-one (21) personnel and thirteen fi@) critical Stinger HMMWVs from Fort Bragg
          remains our top deployment priority.
