          APPENDIX I (Replacement Operations) to ANNEX E (Personnel) to
          OPLAN 5-90

          1. Purpose. This appendix outlines procedures for providing
          replacement operations for units in the 7th Engr Bde.

          2. Responsibilities.

              a. The Bde S-1 has staff responsibilities for replacement
          operations in support of the Bdo and attached units.

              b. Subordinate units are responsible for providing
          transportation for replacements from the RD tc) the unit
          locations.


          5. Concept of Replacement Support. Home stations will continue
          to receive replacements until further notice@ Home stations and
          rear detachment are responsible -For POMing of replacements and
          coordination for manifesting and movement to SWA. Replacement
          detachments will receive replacements +or units within VII Corps.

          4. Specific Guidances.

              a. Home stations/rear detachment will ensure that
          replacements are fully POR qualified and deploy with a field 201
          file. The official 201 file, as well as medical ind dental
          records, will be maintained at home station.

              b. Replicements. 23rd Replacement Detachment will initially
          process replacements with the 9th RD assuming this responsibility
          0/0. Replacement DetachmLnts:

                  (1) Will coordinate with support igencies for billeting
          -knd -E?ding of replacement until picked-up by gaining unit.
              -FL


                  (2) Will obtain Al from Corps AG/G-1.

                  (ZS) Gaining unit is responsible -For transporting
          replacement -From the RD to the unit.

                  (4) Soldier with pinpoint issignments will continue to
          that unit. Soldiers assigned to the 7th Engr Sde (FRG) will be
          .issigned/,ittached within the brigade IAW current priority MOS
ents.

              C. RTD Soldier. TBA


              d. Retrograde. The Replacement Detachment will receive and
          support soldiers going to/+rom emergency leave status TBD.

              e. Replacement for CONUS based ind reserve units. TBA.
