         APPENDIX 8 (Medical) to ANNEX E (Personnel) to OPLAN 5-90



         1. The 7th Engr Sde will be provided medical support on an area
         basis by VII Corps medical units.

         2. Procc?dures:


             a. Commanders must ensure the soldiers they evacuate through
         medical channels either, either ground or air, hive only the
         -Appropriate equipment with them.

             b. No weapons (M-16, bayonet, knives, ammunition, are to
         accompany the evacuee. Additionally, no sensitive items (CE01s,
         OPLANS, night vision devices, etc.) are to accompany the evacuee.

             C. The soldier must take his protective mast, (to include
         NAAK.) They should also take items +or personnel care if they
         are to be hospitalized.

             d. Units will submit by-name lists of hospitalized soldiers
         along with the daily PERSITREP.

             e. Units will submit casualty witness statements and
         casualty feeder reports to the Bde S-1 as hospitalized soldier
         until further notice to exercise the Brigade's CaSLtklty Rc:?porting
         System.

         Z. Evacuation Policy

             a. Division Level - 3 days

             b. Corps level - 7 days
