             ANNEX K (Communications and Electronics) to OPLAN 5-90



                              (1) (C) Change green star cluster to mean
             identification of passage points / friendly position +or
             defensive and offensive operations.

                              (2) (C) Change yellow star cluster to mean fire on
             observed target for defensive operation and commence assault
             counter attack for offensive operations.

                   f. (C) COMSEC Accounts. All Germany based units should
             notify their DCS (Defense Courier System) station that all ARFCOs
             deliveries should be rerouted to Dr-S, Riyadh Air Base. A DCS
             form 10 will be submitted (5 copies, all original signatures) by
             Courier, to RD-00 Riyadh Air Base. Conus based units will receive
             -Further instructions at a later date.


             4. (U) Frequencies. The host nation, Saudi Arabia, owns the
             entire frequency spectrum. Expect to reuse frequencies and
             encounter over-crowded nets. Do not bootleg frequencies. Use
             authorized spares and notify the 7th Engr BdL, Commo Section of
             problems. HF nets arc? planned to use fixed frequencies. Other
             fixed frequencies are as follows:

                          STOP BUZZER       (P)        34.60
                          STOP BUZZER       (P)        :52.20


             5.    (U) Automation.


                   a. Automation maintenance is being coordinated by VII Corps.
             Details will be disseminated when available. Sel-F maintenance
             guidelines are kt appendix

                   b. E-mail is available for units with multichannel access.
             Units should submit E-mail addressee requests to 7th Engr Bde
 COMMO.


             6.    (U) Reports.


                   -k.
                   I   MIJI. Will be reported IAW JCEOI.

                   b. Insecurity. All COMSEC insecurities will be reported to
             7th Engr Bde COMSEC Custodian or alternate, immediately after
             discovery. All SOI insecurities will be reported through both
             the Bde COMSEC custodian and the BDE S-2.
