(7) (U) Carefully adjusting the departure Of unit
personnel by air to arrive in country 1-2 days prior to the
arrival a+ unit equipment at the SPOD.
(8) (U) Maintaining LNO Teams at both the SF'OE and SPOD
to monitor the Status and location of equipment. Ist ID (M) was
the only major unit that maintained a LNO Team at the SPOD.
This enabled Ist ID (M) to clear its equipment from the port
before other major units whose equipment arrived earlier cleared
the port.
