             preparing a USR within 72 hours of arrival at Fort Riley.

             6. (U) DISCUSSION: Units were arriving without a copy of their
             last semi-annual USR to update or knowledgable personnel to
             create a new USR from scratch.

             8. (U) RECOMMENDED ACTION: SOPs and deployment plans/packets
             re-emphas;.ze the need to have personnel familiar with AR 220-1
             (Unit Status Reporting) available when they arrive at the Mob
             Station.
