          4. (U) TITLE: DEPLOYMENT: VALIDITY OF POSTMOBILIZATION TRAINING
          REQUIREMENTS (F'TSR)


          5. (U) OBSERVATION., The PTSR document appeared to be recongnizld
          as an invalid document and was ignored.

          6. (U) DISCUSSION: RC units are required to maintain a PTSR
          document that identifies all Post Mobilization requirements. it
          appeared that units ignored their PTSR information when they
          were alerted and. mobilized. Consequently we started from
          scratch when units were mobilized to determine what their real
          training requirements were.

          7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: RC unit commmander should use F'TSR -For
          intended purpose and update quarterly.

          S. (U) RECOMMENDED ACTION: (1). Require unit commanders to
          update their PTSR quarterly, or (2) eliminate the requirement
          entirely.
