         MEDICAL, FAVORABLE, SUPPORTABILITY, F,LANS.

         4. (U) TITLE, LOGISTICS: CLASS VIII SUPPLY

         5. (U) OBSERVATION: Over 7,000 unit request for Class VIII
         supplies were processed in support of Operation Desert Shield.

         6. (U) DISCUSSION. The Medical Material Branch, Logistic
         Division, MEDDAC, successfully and expeditiously processed over
         7,C)OCI unit request +or medical supplies to Support Operation
         Desert Shield.

         7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: The Successful Support of deploying
         units is attributable to the close coordination maintained with
         HSC, USA Med Material Agency and the Defense Personnel Support
         Center.
