          4. (U) TITLE: LOGISTICS: M9 PISTOL FIELDING

          5. (U) OBSERVATION: The US Army Armorment, Munitions and
Chemical Command (AMCCOM) Total Package Fielding Office provided
superior logistical support to Fort Riley during the M9 pistol
          fielding.

          6. (U) DISCUSSION: Mr. Jeff Yaddoff, AMCCOM M9 Pistol Total
Package Fielding Coordinator, played a vital role in ensuring a
successful Fielding. Although the original Fielding plan was
disrupted by both handoff schedule accelerations and several
increases in equipment requirements, Mr. Yaddoff proved to be
both flexible and resourceful in meeting or exceeding the
installation's changing requirements. Without his efforts the
          Fielding could not have succeeded.

          7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: The importance of having an experienced
and concerned fielding command representative involved in
equipment Fieldings. Supporting unit deployments is critical.

          B. (U) RECOMMENDED ACTION: Mr. Yaddo4f and the AMCCOM Total
Package Fielding Office are to be commended and congratulated
for their outstanding support of the M9 Pistol Fielding at Fort
          Riley, Kansas.

          9. (U) COMMENTS: none

               (U) SUBJECT: LOGISTICS

               (U) INTEROPERABILITY: PLANNING
