         5. (U) OBSERVATION: Local purchase procurements in support of
         deployment have been made under competitive procedures with one
         exception.

         6. (U) DISCUSSION-. DOC early coordination with counterparts at
         Fort Stewart and Campbell effected the identification of the
         type of local purchase items necessary for deployment, approval
         levels and commercial Sources +or these items.


         7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: The lists of potential Sources obtained
         from Fort Riley DOC automated vendor +iles and other
         installations allowed all but one item to be procured
         completely.

         B. (LJ) RECOMMENDED ACTION: Implement this coordination as SOF'
         +or,DOC.MOB and deployment plans.
