          4. (U) TITLE- LOGISTICS: LIMITS ON THE NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED
          ORDERING OFFICERS


          5. (U) OBSERVATION: Keeping the number c+ authorized ordering
          officers to a minimum resulted in increased command and control.


          6. (U) DISCUSSION: FORSCOM recommendations to limit one
          Ordering 0-F+icer per battalion (with exception o+ an additional
          Ordering O+-Ficer, -for advance parties) provided DOC with
          increased command and control o+ procurement actions.

             (U) LESSON LEARNED: As o+ this date; DOC has not received
          any evidence contrary to one Ordering O++icer per battalion
          being SLL-F+icient.
