ANNEX C (PERSONNEL) TO 1ST COSCOM OPORDER DESERT STORM
I. se SITUATION 19T COSCOM with attachments pr'ovides
Combat Service Support to.the XVIII Airborne Corps in a three
phased operation which includes phase I as the preparation
from Desert Shield locations for combat operations; phase rl
which is the redeployment to offensive tactical assembly
areas and phase III which is the conduct of offensive
operations.
a. (U) Enemy Forces - See Basic Plan
b. (U) Friendly Forces (U) XVIII Airborne Corps will
transition its personnel operations from the vicinity of
Dragon Base and SANG Compound in Phase I to the vicinity of
LOOBASE CHARLIE for Phase II and Phase Ill. They will use
LOGBASE BRAVO as an immediate staging area and will in fact
provide some mail and replacement operations at LOOBASE
BRAVO during a portion of Phase II.
(1) Phase I - 573d and 425th PSC provide GS
support to nondiv Corps units at SANG Compound. 129th
Postal Company provides GS at APO 09657 at Dragon City. Igth
Replacement Detachment operates from Cement City and the
Corps Casualty Office (CCO) is located in the Corps Personnel
Operations Center (CPOC at Dragon City. CPOC also Contains
the G-1. MWR, OMB, Red Cross, Safety, IG, SJ.A.and PAO
operations.
(2) Je Phase II - 573d PSC moves forward to LOG-
BASE CHARLIE while the 425th PSC remains at SANG to provide
GS support to nondiv corps MSCS. 129th Postal @oves forward
and accepts mail at LOOBASE BRAVO while 336 Postal Company
operates the APO 09657 at Dragon City. 460th Replacement
Cement City to process all Corps
replacements. Igth will return to duty soldiers in LOGBASE
BRAVO and LOOBASE CHARLIE. The Igth Repl Detachment will
assume the Corps Replacement mission at LOGBASE BRAVO or an
order probably around D+7. The Corps CPOC remains at Dragon
City while selected elements deploy advance elements to LOG-
BASE CHARLIE.
(3) III - 573d PSC (-) will provide GS support
to the Corps nondiv units from LOGBASE CHARLIE with a Task
Force dedicated to provide direct support to the lgt COSCOM.
425th PSC will provide ?SC support to units remaining in the
Corps Rear (Dammam/Dhahran area) as well as assume the
support role for all casualty operations from the Dragon city
location. The 129th Postal (-) will provide general support
to the Corps nondiv units through APO 09857 at LOOBASE
CHARLIE. A platoon from 129th Postal will provide DS support
to the lat COSCOM units. 336 Postal Company will provide
