1035 Received call from COL Wilson, British Atkinson
EOD Representative. Requested meeting
with LTC Pierson to discuss EOD issues
for Riyadh area. Has IED element also
available in the area. Notified him that
CDR would not be back until Thursday
sometime. COL Wilson an be reached by
calling TACS 9-8963-150 and ask for the
EOD Representative.
1320 Received call from CPT Wilson to call Moore
74th EOD to see if they had a team on
the way to the school house for a
briefcase in the parking lot.
1400 Notified by CPT Wilson that briefcase Atkinson
was not a device. Contained classified
material. Turned case over to LTC
Holland, G3.
1725 Received call from LTC Silvernail, Chem Atkinson
Off, J3 CENTCOM. He requests a meeting
with rep from 74th and Gp to coordinate
off post incident response. Meeting will
be in CENTCOM HQ. Director of Police,
Riyadh, PMO CENTCOM, & LTC Silvernail
will be at the meeting. His # is TACS 9-
8963-367 or com. 402-4818 ext 281. EOD
team will respond to Hyatt Regency Hotel
and receive police escort to where item
is located should scud attack occur and
item be located. Notified CPT Smith,
74th EOD.
10 LTC Silvernail called to notify us that Atkinson
he will give us a call at 0900 tomorrow
if meeting is still on. Also, report any
information from incidents to CENTCOM
PMO com. 402-4818 ext 224.
1915 LTC Pierson called to touch base. Olson
1920 Shift Change. Shift schedule being Olson
changed from 9 to 9.
2139 SFC Seibe, 74th EOD, informed us that Bupp
MOPP level is 4. Informed SGM Atkinson
and SFC Paksi.
