            APPENDIX 5 (CIVIL AFFAIRS REPORT) TO ANNEX X (REPORTS) TO XVIII
            AIRBORNE CORPS FIELD SOP


            1. Divisions and Separate Brigades will prepare a daily civil
            affairs report. Reports will follow the format described below
            and will be sent by electronic means to Corps HQ G5 as of 1800
            hours, due NLT 2100 hours local. Lines for which no information
            is available may be omitted.

            2. Format for periodic Civil Affairs (CA) report:
                a. Line 1. Date-time group of beginning of reporting period
            (1800 hours of preceding day).
                b. Line 2. Date-time group of ending of reporting period
            (1800 hours of day report is prepared).

                C. Line 3. Status of arrangements between civil and
            military organizations.

                d. Line 4. Changes in CA area of operation.
                e. Line 5. Estimated civilian population density in CA area
            of operation.

                f. Line 6. Status of local public administration.
            Capability of local government to continue essential functions.
                .g. Line 7.-. Status.of US Treaties.- Analysis of how treaty
            impacts upon current/projected operations.

                h.  Line 8. CA intelligence data:

                    (1) Attitude of population groups.
                    (2) Identification of collaborators, agents, and
            dissident elements.

                    (3) Espionage, sabotage.

                    (4) Political subversion.

                    (5) Enemy PSYOP/disinformation.
                i. Line 9. Status of law and order and protection of
            property.
