       -0009, C/1/12 reported 69 EPW'3 captured.
       -0030, G/3/11 and E/2/12 received incoming indirect fire; no casualties.
       -0730 During occupation of firing position at QT 844014, 1/11 Jump CP
        and @ 1/11 advance party (with 2 howitzers) received incoming mortar
        fire and exchanged automatic weapons fire from Iraqi vehicles to the
        northeast.
       -0745, 1/11 displaced by echelon with H/3/14 and I/3/11. Displacment
        was delayed at second breach site due to TF Papa Bear engagement to
        East. Batteries occupied firing positions near grid QT 8300.
       -0753, Division FSCC requested that lith Marines attack an
        armor/mechanized brigade forming at OT 893023 and an armored brigade
        forming at OT 874097. At this time, only one b'attery was oriented on
        this area. The Regt FDC directed all battalions to orient on these
        counterattack forces and issued a fire order "Regt 4 rounds DPICM or
        RAP as range appropriate tot 0817' for target AY0013 the
        armored/mechanized brigade and 'Regt 4 rounds DPICM or RAP as range
        appropriate TOT 0820" for target AY 1004 the armored brigade.
       -0817 11th Marines massed 11 Batteries from 4 Battalions firing rounds
        of R@P and rounds of DPICM on target AY 1003, the armor/mechanized
        brigade forming at grid OT 893023, 244 rounds of RAP and DPICM
        expended.
       -0820, 11th Marines massed 13 batteries from all five battalion firing4
        rounds of RAP and rounds of DPICM on target AY1004, the armored brigade
        forming at grid OT 874097. 496 rounds of RAP and DPICM expended.
       -0830, 1/11 reoriented on azimuth of fire 2700 aimpoint grid OS 9190 to
        support TF Papa Bear engagement with Iraqi counterattack force.
       -0910, A/1/11 displaced forward through second breach and closed on 1/11
        near grid OT 8300.
       -0930, 5/ii began displacement forward through second breach and
        occupied firing positions near grid QT 8395 with the battalion FireCap
        ready at 1130.
       -1025, Pride FWD CP engages elements of Iraqi armor force with AT-.4's,
        Cobras, and LAI's at QS 8598, began engaging the Iraqi force.
       -1030, 1/11 received incoming mortar fire at grid OS 810995; 1 WIA
        reported from 11 3/14.
       -1114, During occupation of firing positlon at OT 844014, 1/11 Jump CP
        and A/1/11 advance party received incoming automatic weapons fire from
        Iraqi vehicles to the Northeast. One A/1/11 howitzer engaged Iraqi
        forces with direct fire destroying one vehicle and dispersing the
        remainder of the force.
       -1201, 5/11 displaced further forward to better range Al Jaber Airfield
        and occupied firing positions near grid OT 7999 FireCap ready at 1250.
        1216, H/3/14 engaged two Iraqi Multiple Rocket Launchers (MRL)
        preparing to fire at grid OT 855012 with automatic weapons and howitzer,
        di,ect fire destroying one MRL and neutralizing the other.
        1218, 3/11 displaced batteries forward by echelon with a platoon from
        each battery occupying firing posi2ton near grid OT 7703 FireCap ready
        at 1351.
        1345, 1/11 completed occupation of firing positions and were firecap
        ready near grid OT 8300.
        1400, 3/12 displaced remaining platoons forward to close on lead
